教育与研究经历
1982年进入武汉大学化学系学习,1992年获得博士学位以后留校任教,从事分析化学研究与教学;1996~1997年在美国Clemson大学进行访问学者/博士后研究;2001年任德国Duisburg大学客座教授,2002年和2005任德国GKSS政府研究中心客座研究员;现为武汉大学教授,博士生导师。

教学情况
化学院基地班《仪器分析》,化学院本科生《现代分析化学》及化学院研究生《等离子体光谱/质谱分析》、《分析科学进展》、《稀土元素分析》等。

承担项目与课题
主持国家自然科学基金、教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划、教育部博士点基金、湖北省青年杰出人才基金及武汉市晨光计划等项目。参与了国家自然科学基金委员会创新研究群体项目、教育部长江学者和创新团队发展计划及国家高新技术研究发展计划“863”重大项目等项目。

任职情况
现任武汉大学化学与分子科学学院副院长;湖北省化学化工学会理事、分析化学专业委员会主任;教育部生物医学分析重点实验室副主任;《分析科学学报》编委、副主编;《分析试验室》编委;《The Open Spectroscopy Journal》(Bentham Science Publishers)编委等。
